Investigation and experimental implementation of taxonomic checklist cross-mapping techniques

in the Biodiversity Informatics Group
in the School of Computer Science & Informatics
at Cardiff University.

(tracking and describing taxon changes through time,
specifically in the Catalogue of Life Annual Checklist and intervening quarterly editions)

(resolving and potentially integrating differences between checklists compiled for different geographical regions
and possibly other "thematic" checklists)

i4Life taxonomic integration among organisations
(providing facilities for navigating between differing checklists used by various organisations with taxon-related data)
